Terms and Conditions: Basic Web Design Package

Here are the full, comprehensive Terms and Conditions adapted specifically for your Basic (templated) £495 package, incorporating the 10% deposit requirement, the BYO (Bring Your Own) content structure, and professional legal clauses matching your desired format.

Scope of Work

The “Basic” package includes the following deliverables:

Templated Layout: A professional, pre-designed template layout tailored to house your content.
Page Limit: Up to 5 (five) pages (e.g., Home, About, Services, Gallery, Contact).
Platform: The website will be built using the WordPress CMS platform unless otherwise agreed in writing before the project begins.
Responsiveness: The design will be fully mobile-responsive, ensuring optimal compatibility across smartphones, tablets, and desktops.

Design Process & Revisions

Initial Setup: We will apply your branding elements (colors, logos, and fonts) to the chosen template structure.
Revisions: This package includes minor adjustments during the setup phase. Because this is a templated build, structural layout redesigns are out of scope.
Out of Scope: Requests for additional pages beyond the initial 5, custom bespoke UI/UX coding, or advanced functional integrations will be billed separately at our standard add-on rates.

Content & Management (BYO)

Editable Content: Upon completion, the Client will have the ability to update text and images via the content management dashboard.
Design Integrity: The underlying template code, CSS, and structural layout architecture are not intended for client modification. We are not responsible for site “breaks” caused by Client attempts to alter the underlying code.
Content Provision (BYO): The Client is entirely responsible for providing all “Bring Your Own” (BYO) text, high-resolution logos, and specific imagery. All text and assets must be submitted within 14 days of project commencement. Delays in providing content may result in project delays.

Hosting & Domain Services

Package Exclusion: Website hosting, domain name registration fees, and ongoing monthly support are not included in the £495 package price.
In-House Hosting: We offer professional hosting services as a separate annual subscription (£90/year). If you choose to host with us, we will handle the full setup, deployment, and free security updates.
External Hosting: If you prefer to use a third-party provider, you are responsible for all external server costs and technical configurations.

Payment Terms

Deposit: A non-refundable 10% commencement fee (£49.50) is required before any design or setup work can begin.
Final Balance: The remaining 90% balance (£445.50) is due upon completion of the build and prior to the website being launched or transferred.
Recurring Fees: If you opt for our annual hosting or add-on services, those payments must be settled before the site goes live.

Support

Post-Launch Support: This package does not include ongoing monthly support or free maintenance post-launch. Any future updates, edits, or troubleshooting must be booked separately or covered via a maintenance plan.
